The Toyota Vios / Yaris (NSP150 NSP151) 2017+ Amplifier (88650-0D770 / Denso 277400-5001) is the electronic climate control module for the facelifted third-generation Vios and Yaris. Unlike older "thermo amplifiers" that only managed a thermistor, this modern AC ECU integrates with the car's CAN-bus system to manage engine load and passenger comfort.

Technical Verification

• The "NSP" Factor: This amplifier is specific to the NSP150/151 chassis (with the 2NR-FE Dual VVT-i engine). It is not compatible with the older NCP150 (2013–2016) which uses a different part number (88650-0D480).

  • AC compressor refuses to engage even with correct gas pressure.
