Introduction to Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT)
Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), founded in 1940, is a key national university in China. It is among the first universities included in the national “Project 211,” “Project 985,” and “Double First-Class” initiatives.
According to international rankings, BIT is ranked 259th in the QS World University Rankings 2026, 102nd in the ARWU 2025, 156th in U.S. News Best Global Universities 2025–2026, and 236th in the THE World University Rankings 2026. BIT ranks 9th among universities in mainland China for graduate employability (QS, 2022) and has achieved an A+ rating in the Ministry of Education’s quality certification for higher education for international students in China.
The Zhuhai Campus, established in 2001, serves as BIT’s high-level international campus in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. Located in the “Golden Inner Bay” of Zhuhai National High-Tech Zone, the campus offers a prime environment for study and innovation with excellent transportation and ecological surroundings. Undergraduate Program Categories

Application Eligibility
- 
	Applicants must have completed high school or above, be eligible for university admission, in good health, and willing to comply with Chinese laws and BIT regulations. Applicants must hold a valid foreign passport. 
- 
	Applicants must be between 18 and 25 years old. Those under 18 must provide guardian documents for a legal guardian residing in Beijing. 
- 
	Must meet the requirements of MOE [2020] No. 12. 
Application Procedure
Applicants should log into the online application system “Study at BIT” (Contact E-Square to create account), fill in the application form, and pay the application fee online.
The system will open on October 15, 2025.
