1. Programs

2. Type and Duration of the Programs

Full-time study

Duration: 4 years (up to 8 years maximum)
3. Eligibility
-
Non-Chinese citizens aged 18–25 with valid foreign passports; good health and conduct, comply with Chinese laws and university regulations.

Applicants under 18 by August 31 must provide a Power of Attorney.

High school diploma or above; finalists may submit pre-graduation proof, but must graduate before enrollment.

Chinese-taught programs:

Science & Engineering: HSK4 ≥180

Liberal Arts, Medicine, Arts: HSK5 ≥180

Chinese Language & TCSOL majors: No HSK required

English-taught programs: IELTS 5.5 / TOEFL IBT 80 / Duolingo 100+ (excluding native speakers)

Native Chinese or English speakers may be exempted after university review.

Must comply with MOE Document [2020] No.12, including nationality status/residency criteria.

6. Admission Procedure

Expert panels from colleges review applications; interviews conducted when necessary

Round 1 results in April, Round 2 in June via email; system status also updated

July: final admission materials emailed
-
Admitted students use Admission Notice + JW202 to apply for X1 visa; convert to residence permit within 30 days or face dismissal
-
On-campus registration per Admission Notice; original documents verified; failure disqualifies admission

Application fee: RMB 400 / USD 60 (non-refundable)

Liberal Arts: RMB 26,000

Yuehai campus: single/double rooms, RMB 2,400–8,000

8. Scholarships Available

Guangdong Provincial Scholarship: RMB 10,000/year
