This is an OEM-style front grille / front finisher retainer clip used on classic Nissan vehicles.
It features a rectangular snap-in head with spring locking legs, designed to secure the front grille or finishing panel onto a rectangular body opening.

Correct fitment requires a rectangular mounting hole.
