Understanding Quickern
Our name, Quickern, signifies a forward-thinking ("-ern") method focused on achieving rapid ("Quick") calculation abilities anchored in core ("Kernel") mathematical principles. We empower students through engaging educational techniques, utilizing visual aids like illustrations and diagrams, alongside a Concrete, Pictorial, Abstract (CPA) framework. "Number magics" such as those with 3, 9, and 11 and more are taught to spark interest among students. Furthermore, basic application questions will also be given as exercise for students to apply the techniques learnt during lessons. This will be a program catered for primary school students between grade 1 to grade 6.
Accelerated Learning Outcomes
Unlike traditional schooling that spans six years, Quickern is designed to efficiently cover the core calculation syllabus (including basic application techniques) for primary students Grade 1 to Grade 6 in just two years. Our focused methodologies and engaging techniques enable students to achieve this accelerated pace without compromising a strong foundational understanding.
