New home, new breath: British PPM formaldehyde detector reveals the secrets of sofa
This year, we started a new project: using a professional British PPM formaldehyde detector to test items in the home to see which ones may contain formaldehyde. In the first episode, we went to a customer’s home in Country Heights Damansara to test their new sofa.
Questions before testing
New sofas are always exciting, but also worrying – are they safe? Will it release harmful formaldehyde? This time, we used PPM brand testing equipment to find out.
Testing process
The detection process is very simple. Just turn on your PPM detector, place it next to your couch, and wait for its magic to work. After a few minutes, the numbers stabilized, and the results were surprising.
The results
The results showed that the formaldehyde content was 0.05ppm. This is a relatively safe level and well below international safety standards. This means that this new sofa is not only beautiful but also harmless to your health.
In conclusion
Through this testing, we can safely say that, at least in this home, the new sofa is safe. That's good news, isn't it?
