Cheong Vege Sdn. Bhd., a proud subsidiary of Chin Woh, recently had the honor of welcoming a special delegation from the Northern Corridor Economic Region (NCER) to our farm.
The visit was held in conjunction with our official appointment as the Agro Food Hub distribution center in Perak Darul Ridzuan — a milestone achievement that recognizes Cheong Vege’s commitment to supporting Malaysia’s sustainable and pesticide-free agriculture.
During the visit, the NCER team explored our fields and learned about our natural, pesticide-free farming practices, where every crop is cultivated with care to ensure freshness, safety, and quality for consumers.
The program, organized by the Northern Corridor Implementation Authority (NCIA), was officiated by the Chief Minister of Perak, YAB Dato’ Seri Haji Saarani Bin Mohamad.
Through the NCER Agro Food Hub Development Program, this initiative aims to:
Increase farmers’ income
Generate economic opportunities and growth
Attract new investments into the agriculture sector
