Malaysia has been selected to host the opening round of the 2025/2026 Michelin 24H Series Middle East. The event will take place at the Petronas Sepang International Circuit in early December this year.
This will be the first time the race series comes to the Far East. Practice and qualifying will happen on December 5, followed by a non-stop 12-hour race on December 6. The race, called the Michelin 12H Malaysia, has already received over 20 team entries, according to organiser Creventic.

The Michelin 24H Series Middle East was first introduced in the 2022/2023 winter season to allow racing teams to continue competing into the new year. After the Malaysia race, the series will continue with the Michelin 24H Dubai (January 9–11) and the Michelin 6H Abu Dhabi (January 16–18).

Creventic’s commercial event manager David Vink said they are excited to finally bring the race to Sepang, calling it one of the best tracks in the world. He mentioned that many teams have been requesting to race in Sepang for years, which shows how popular the track is. With over 20 entries already confirmed, they expect a strong turnout.
