Tradition Sinar Industries is a company that 100% owned by bumiputera. The company was established in 2015 starting with a small scale located in Melaka. The activity carried out is providing Crispy Keropok Lekor made by one of the bumiputera companies in Muar.

Melaka is a state with a large population and tourists, so Keropok Lekor is a food product that sells well and is easily sold by small traders as well as large restaurants. For 6 months operating on its own, the company has rented a shop premises to accommodate large stocks as demand has increased from 50kg to 600kg per day.

In March 2018 the company started the process of making Crispy Keropok Lekor in the rented premises. It started with 50kg and it continues to increase to 600kg per day and to this day has reached a production of 1.5 tons per day. The demand from the Melaka state market is so encouraging that the company applies the HALAL and MESTI certification in accordance with the food act that has been set.

The company has obtained MESTI and Halal certification in August 2019 and is making strides to continue to grow. With this certification, the company can penetrate the market further to drive bumiputera or Muslim products.
