HAppyCross is a single, new and innovative second generation visco-elastic solution combining payented cross-linked, high concentration visco-elastic gel with Mannitol.

HAppyCross acts as a temporary replacement of synovial fluid in the joint providing lubrication and shock absorption. The cross-linked visco-elastic ge protects the cartilage by reducing frictions and providing shock absorption, at the same time restoring the joint natural environment by stimulating te cartilage cells to produce healthy synovial fluid.
Mannitol delays the breaking down of the visco-elastic gel, hence increasing the residence time (in the joint cavity), as well as providing immediate analgesic and anti-oedematous effects.
 

• Appropriate Volume  
  HAppyCross is supplied in 2.2 mL pre-filled syringes and is entrely appropriate for a single intra-articular injection into knee, hip, ankle and shoulder.
   
• High Concentration  
  HAppyCross contains high concentration of hyaluronic acid ; 1.6% i.e. 35.2mg/syringe
   
• Cross-linked Hyaluronic Acid  
  HAppyCross is cross-linked hyaluronic acid gel with high degree of cross linking (85%), which ensures a gel-like rheological behaviour, maximizing the mechanical properties of hyaluronic acid, and increase the residence time of the gel in the joint cavity, preventing biodegradation from free radicals and enzymes.
