Description 

The LEAKMASTER LV-Z Hydrophilic Gun Grade Waterstop is a one component polyurethane water-swelling (hydrophilic waterstop) sealant with excellent and unique physical properties. It is a hydrophilic (water-loving) gun-grade material that expands in the presence of water, creating a watertight seal in concrete joints and structures. It can be applied to places such as joints in concrete, in civil engineering construction and water services for seals where conventional seals cannot be applied easily. After hardening, it has excellent physical properties together with rubberlike elasticity and water sealing properties.

Applications

For the LEAKMASTER LV-Z Hydrophilic Gun Grade Waterstop.

1. Surface must be clean, dry and free of dirt, grease, oil & water.
2. Stir adhesive thoroughly before use.
3. Apply the adhesive to both surfaces to be bonded with a dry, clean, brush or scraper to give a uniform coating.
4. Allow the solvents to evaporate until adhesive film is “tacky” or “touch dry”. It will take between 10 to 20 minutes depending upon the surface porosity and the weather conditions.
5. Position the coated surfaces accurately before assembling them, and upon installation, apply an even pressure to the installed material to consolidate the bond.
6. Bond strength can be fully obtained after 24 hours.
