EMRO Malaysia was pleased to support the Mudball Movement Program held on 6 August 2025 at Sekolah Seni Malaysia, Johor, by providing EM Bokashi for the activity.
An officer from Majlis Bandaraya Pasir Gudang (MBPG) delivered an informative talk to an enthusiastic audience comprising 60 students from Sekolah Seni Malaysia Johor (SSeMJ), 20 volunteers from MewahOleo Industries Sdn. Bhd., and 10 staff members from MBPG.
The participants learned how EM Mudballs help reduce water pollution and improve the cleanliness of rivers and other water bodies. Effective Microorganisms (EM) promote the growth of beneficial microbes that decompose waste and neutralize harmful bacteria, providing a chemical-free and cost-effective method for water treatment.
Through initiatives like this, EMRO Malaysia continues to support practical learning in environmental conservation and microbiology. This hands-on program encourages student and community participation in sustainability efforts, fostering a sense of shared responsibility and environmental stewardship for the protection of our waterways.
