Description
Speaker line monitoring units from Amperes has been further enhanced with the introduction of these two totally new models.SS-5508 is an 8 channels version while SS-5516 is 16 channels.
With its new processor and measurement algorithm, they are now able to perform taks faster with better accuracy than before. Setting up has also been much simplified for ease of installation. One distinct feature is external force activation, which if it is connected to a program timer, monitoring shall begin at preset times, thus avoiding disturbances to occupants of the building. SS5500 series provides reliable speaker circuit monitoring for ground leakage, short and open circuit using impedance measurement method, thus eliminating the use of end line resistors in the speaker networks. With its RS485 data terminal, it can be connected to PMX LAN software via iPX5500 for remote monitoring.
