Introduction
ROWE RACING is the motorsport division of ROWE, established in 2011 to support engineering development through real world endurance racing data. The programme focuses on evaluating lubricant performance under extreme motorsport conditions.
Technical Base at St. Ingbert
ROWE RACING operates from its dedicated headquarters in St. Ingbert, Germany. Following recent renovations and extensions, this facility offers 31600 m² of usable space. The headquarters was specially designed to meet the needs of modern motorsport and is conveniently located less than 150 kilometers from the two traditional 24 hour race tracks: Nürburgring and Spa.
Core Facilities:
- Modern vehicle hall: The centerpiece of the facility, capable of working on up to six racing vehicles simultaneously for professional operations.
- Expert technical team: Experienced motorsport mechanics build and prepare cars using state of the art equipment.
- Specialized workshops: Includes in house gearbox and carbon fiber workshops, as well as a dedicated department for vehicle decal design and production.
Endurance Racing Programme
ROWE RACING competes in GT endurance racing, particularly 24 hour events in Europe. Since its inception, the team has demonstrated exceptional engineering expertise across multiple world class brands, including:
- Mercedes Benz
- Porsche
- BMW

Driving Laboratory Concept
Within the ROWE engineering philosophy, motorsport functions as a driving laboratory. It enables performance analysis under extreme conditions such as:
- Continuous high temperature operation
- Sustained high RPM load
- Long distance endurance stress
Nürburgring Nordschleife: The living laboratory where 24-hour stress testing drives our product development.
Endurance Racing Achievements
ROWE RACING has achieved consistent results in international GT endurance racing. Key results include:
- Nürburgring 24 Hours Winner: 2020, 2025
- 24 Hours of Spa Winner: 2016, 2020, 2023
2023 Season: Historic victory at Spa-Francorchamps with the BMW M4 GT3, reinforcing our position at the top of GT racing.
Evolution: The latest 2025/2026 race livery. New colors, same uncompromising HIGHTEC DNA.

Q1: What makes the ROWE RACING headquarters unique?
A: Located in St. Ingbert, Germany, our 31600 m² facility is a state of the art engineering hub. It features a vehicle hall for simultaneous work on six cars, alongside dedicated workshops for gearbox and carbon fiber engineering, ensuring we remain at the forefront of automotive technology.
Q2: Why is motorsport essential for lubricant development?
A: Motorsport serves as our driving laboratory. By testing in extreme conditions at the Nürburgring and Spa, we collect real world data that cannot be replicated in a standard lab. This feedback loop allows us to continuously refine our lubricant reliability performance for high temperature and high load environments.
Q3: How does track technology benefit daily drivers?
A: We follow a from the race track to the shelf philosophy. The extreme thermal stability and wear protection characteristics proven on the track are integrated directly into our commercial formulations, ensuring your vehicle receives the same level of superior performance and reliability as our championship winning race cars.
