Non Asbestos Jointing Material

The Compressed Non-Asbestos Jointing Sheet Style 6930 is made from Aramid fibres, NBR Binder and heat-resisting material, compressed into a thick jointing sheet. It is mainly used in equipment for water, steam etc. and also as a sealing material in the joints of pipeline.

Medium: Water, Steam, Low Concentrated Acid & Alkali Solvent
Max. Operating Pressure: 30 BAR
Max. Operating Temperature: 300ºC

The suitability of a gasket material for an application is dependent upon a multiplicity of factors such as Medium, Pressure, Temperature, Flange, Bolt and Process Control. The max.temperature and pressure values cannot define the suitability for application. It’s always advisable to consider these factors when selecting a material for a given application.
