The XXIO 14+ Hybrid is a long-game club aimed at golfers with faster swing speeds who want high launch, a powerful trajectory, and excellent stability. It is the more powerful-feeling option compared to the standard XXIO 14 Hybrid, designed for those who prefer to swing aggressively.
This hybrid incorporates the same core speed and stability technologies found across the XXIO 14 line:
Wing Cannon Sole * This structural feature creates a large, unsupported hollow area beneath the face, which helps maximize face deflection and increase ball speed.
The strategic positioning of mass, including thickened toe and heel sections shifted toward the face, achieves a low center of gravity while maintaining a high Moment of Inertia (MOI) for added forgiveness.
Edge Cup Face * By reinforcing the rigidity at the cup face's edge, this design focuses the energy transfer, causing the crown area to flex significantly upon impact. This mechanism is key to generating higher initial ball velocity.
ActivWing * The aerodynamic steps on the clubhead are raised and positioned strategically to improve airflow. This technology works to stabilize the clubhead through the downswing, promoting a consistent impact position on the face.
High Grip Milled Pattern * A fine laser-milled pattern is applied to the heel and toe of the face. Its purpose is to increase friction and engage the gear effect, which helps maintain straight ball flight and consistent spin, even when the ball is struck off-center or in wet conditions.
The XXIO 14+ Hybrid is available in multiple lofts, from H3 ($18^{\circ}$) to H7 ($30^{\circ}$), offering comprehensive yardage coverage. It is equipped with the SPEEDER NX DST for XXIO Carbon Shaft and a Tour Velvet Rubber 360 Grip.
