Indication
Pharmaniaga Aspira 10 /mg Tablet is indicated for:

• Asthma: Prophylaxis and chronic treatment of asthma in adults and pediatric patients aged 12 months and older.

• Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis: Relief of daytime and nighttime symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis in adults and pediatric patients aged 2 years and older

• Dosage:

  • Adults ≥15 years: One 10 /mg tablet daily in the evening.

  • Children 6–14 years: One 5 /mg chewable tablet daily in the evening.

  • Children 2–5 years: One 4 /mg chewable tablet or one sachet of 4 /mg oral granules daily.

  • Children 12 months–2 years: One sachet of 4 /mg oral granules daily.

• Administration:

  • May be taken with or without food.

  • Tablets:

    • Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not chew, crush, or break it.

  • Oral Granules:

    • May be administered directly into the mouth or mixed with a spoonful of cold or room temperature soft food (e.g., applesauce) or dissolved in 1 teaspoonful (5 mL) of cold or room temperature baby formula or breast milk.

    • Administer immediately (within 15 minutes) after opening the sachet.

    • Drug/food mixture should not be stored for future use.

    • Not intended to be dissolved in any liquid other than baby formula or breast milk for administration.
