Watersam Automatic Sampler | Time, Volume & Event Proportional Water Sampling System
The Watersam Automatic Sampler provides reliable, programmable water sampling for environmental monitoring, industrial wastewater, and regulatory compliance. Designed for flexibility, it supports time-proportional, volume-proportional, and event-proportional sampling, allowing you to collect either single grab samples or composite samples based on your project’s requirements.
Built for demanding field conditions, the system uses a pressure/vacuum pump to draw samples from depths of up to 8 meters, and with the optional VP lifting system, it can achieve a water lift of up to 30 meters. A stainless steel housing with a high-grade door gasket prevents thermal bridges and protects samples, while the unit’s sensor connections support automated data collection. Multiple bottle combinations and bottle types are available for customized sample storage.

Smpling Mode
-Time-Proportional SamplingCTCV: constant time; constant volume
The most common sampling mode; simple sampling performed at regular time intervals.
-Flow-Proportional Sampling (CVVT)CVVT: constant volume; variable time
Sampling based on input from a flow meter, with sample volumes remaining constant but time intervals between samples varying according to flow. It is also possible to combine volume and time-proportional sampling to moderate extreme fluctuations and prevent samples from being taken too close together (very high flow) or too far apart (very low flow).
-Flow-Proportional Sampling (CTVV)CTVV: constant time; variable volume
Sampling based on input from a flow meter, with time intervals between samples remaining constant but sample volumes varying according to flow. Offers representative samples if amount of flow and dirt content fluctuate widely. In some regions, this sampling mode is mandatory.
-Event-Proportional SamplingSampling based on input from an online measuring device, e.g. pH sensor. As long as a predefined event is taking place, samples are drawn and handled according to program settings.
