Its superiority as a filter media results from its unique combination of desirable features, which make it ideal for use as the upper layer in dual media filters, or as a superior alternative to sand or anthracite coal in mono media filters.
The raw material is mined from Australian coal seam which has been carefully selected for its ability to provide the physical and chemical qualities, including durability, particle shape and surface texture required for water and wastewater filtration applications
