CSR EM Mudball Journey for World Rivers Day 2025

More EM Mudball activities with the support of EMRO Malaysia!

In conjunction with World Rivers Day 2025, SMK Bandar Putra 2 (Kulai, Johor), in collaboration with Kurita Water (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd., the Department of Environment (DOE) Johor, and the Iskandar Puteri City Council (MBIP), organized an EM Mudball Making Program on 3 September 2025.

The event gathered over 400 participants, including students, teachers, and community partners, who collectively produced an impressive 29,750 EM Mudballs through teamwork and shared commitment to protecting the environment.

These EM Mudballs were later released during the World Rivers Day 2025 celebration, organized by MBIP at Kampung Pendas Laut, Gelang Patah, Johor, on 27–28 September 2025.

Program Highlights:

Mudball Maker Competition – 27 Sept, featuring 60 school students
Mudball Tossing – 27–28 Sept, with all 29,750 mudballs released into the river
Showcase Booth – 27–28 Sept, promoting EM technology and community sustainability

It was a meaningful celebration of World Rivers Day, promoting collective action to keep our rivers clean, healthy, and thriving for generations to come.
