| Course Introduction: | As you go through the training, you’ll start to see how different boilers work, get familiar with their key parts and safety features, and learn to spot when something isn’t right. By the end, you’ll feel more confident handling both real situations and exam questions related to boiler operations. |

| Eligibility: Academic | Option 1: Minimum SPM or SKM Level 2 (or equivalent), with 2 years working experience in steam boiler operations Option 2: SKM Level 3 in Steam Boiler, with 1 year relevant experience |

| Medical Fitness | Certified medically fit by an Occupational Health Doctor (OHD) using the health examination form available in the MyKKP system. |
| Renewal Conditions | To renew a Steam Boiler Operator (Grade 1 & 2) certificate, applicants must be actively working in boiler operations (verified by employer), be medically fit certified by an OHD via MyKKP, have a permanent employer, and have no offences or fraudulent registration under OSHA. Renewal should be applied 3 months before expiry. Applications submitted more than 12 months after expiry will be treated as new registration with special assessment. |
5B. Technical Boilerman G1

| Eligibility: Academic | Applicants who wish to attend the Boilerman Grade 1 (G1) course must: a. Have at least 6 months of working experience in steam boiler operations as a Grade 2 Boilerman; b. Obtain verification from the employer or a Grade 1 Steam Boiler Engineer for the above experience; c. Attend the Boilerman Grade 1 training at a JKKP registered training provider; and d. Pass the Boilerman Grade 1 examination at a recognized examination center. |
