Top 3 Customer Questions & Concerns þ
Can I adjust the volume of the ringer? Most standard external ringers are set to a fixed "High" volume to ensure maximum audibility. If the sound is too loud, placing a small piece of tape over the speaker grill can help dampen the decibel level.
þ Will this work with a VOIP or Digital phone system? This ringer is designed for analog (PSTN) lines. If you are using a VOIP system, it will only work if connected to the analog "Phone" port on the back of your internet modem/router.
Does it require a separate phone line? No. You simply plug the line from your wall into the ringer, and then connect your telephone into the second port on the ringer. It acts as a "pass-through" device.
