Modern circuit boards made from highly abrasive FR4 fiberglass require specialist tools to handle the hundreds or thousands of holes and paths. These routers are crafted from high-quality tungsten carbide to withstand this abrasion, ensuring a long service life and consistent performance. The right-hand, up-draft spiral design is a key feature, actively lifting debris up and out of the hole to prevent binding and bit breakage, while the integrated chip-breaker geometry chops swarf into smaller pieces to reduce radial load and wear.
Ideal for peripheral contour routing, these bits are designed to produce accurately cut holes with clean edges and have a beneficial effect on burr reduction. For optimal results and ease of use, we highly recommend fitting the bits with our depth setting rings. This allows you to standardize the plunge depth stop on your drill press across all bit diameters, streamlining your workflow and enhancing operational safety and precision.
