Vocal Teacher
Cecelia Fong Hui Wen is a highly skilled vocal teacher with a strong foundation in classical vocal performance. She is currently pursuing a diploma in music at the Malaysian Institute of Art (MIA), majoring in classical vocal studies, and has accumulated over seven years of vocal training.
Throughout her studies, Cecelia has actively participated in numerous solo and choir performances, including departmental recitals, themed concerts, and large-scale choral productions such as Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9. In addition to her performance experience, she holds a Trinity Grade 8 certification in classical vocal, demonstrating her technical proficiency and dedication to the art.
Beyond classical music, Cecelia is also passionate about teaching contemporary styles, including pop vocals, enabling her to guide students in developing a versatile singing technique that blends classical fundamentals with modern performance styles. Her teaching approach focuses on nurturing each student’s unique voice, improving vocal technique, and building confidence for both solo and group performances.
With her extensive experience and versatile skill set, Cecelia inspires students of all ages to explore and enjoy the art of singing, whether in classical repertoire or contemporary pop music.
