5 Way, Multi-user, Portable Dust Collection System to conform to OSHA Directive 1926.1153 for Crystalline Silica containment. This compressed air powered system can be used with compressed air powered tools or electric tools. It can be used with percussion tools, drills, saws or grinders, and each line is designed to work with one tool at a time. The unit requires approximately 245 cfm of compressed air at 90 psi (pressure required for most air tools to operate properly) to create the suction (vacuum) needed to draw the dust away from the work being performed. This compressed air requirement is broken down as follows. Each line uses a TX-2AM Mini Air Mover to create the suction (vacuum), and each Mini Air Mover uses approximately 40 cfm at 90 psi. If all five lines are being used, then a total of 200 cfm is required. All five vacuum lines merge into one shroud that is attached to a TX-3AM-P Air Mover. This Air Mover is used to deliver the collected dust from all five vacuum lines to the filter, and it uses approximately 45 cfm of compressed air at 90 psi.
The TX-DCS-MU5 will allow up to 5 workers on one system. The TX-DCS-MU5 comes with 5 vacuum hoses (25' each), 5 vacuum hose whips (5' each), 5 - TX-2AM Mini Air Movers, a HEPA Filter, a Cyclonic Filter, 30' of 8" Ducting and the rolling Cart. The 2" Vacuum Hose can be adapted to any vacuum port on any tool. Adapters sold separately.
