Johor,Skudai,Penang,Selangor,Taman Impian Emas ,Kuala Lumpur (KL),Klang,Bukit Mertajam,Bandar Nusajaya,Taman Sungai Besi,Nusajaya,Kawasan Perindustrian Sungai Puloh - Pile Testing
29-Jul-2022
1. Maintain Load Test (MLT)
The Maintain Load Test is a type of static load test used to evaluate the performance of a pile foundation. This test helps assess the pile's capacity and behavior under sustained load conditions, simulating the long-term loads that the pile will experience once the structure is in place.
2. Pile Dynamic Test (PDA)
A Pile Dynamic Test (PDA) is a non-destructive testing method used to evaluate the integrity and load-bearing capacity of piles used in foundations. It is commonly used in geotechnical engineering to assess the behavior of piles during or after installation. The test involves the application of dynamic forces to the pile, typically by striking the top of the pile with a hammer, and then measuring the response through sensors attached to the pile.
3. Pile Integrity Test (PIT)
A Pile Integrity Test (PIT) is a non-destructive testing method used to assess the quality and structural integrity of piles (deep foundation elements) in construction. The test helps identify issues such as defects, cracks, voids, and other anomalies that could affect the pile’s load-bearing capacity and performance over time. The basic principle of PIT is to measure the wave propagation velocity in the pile.
4. Parallel Seismic Test
A parallel seismic test for piles is a non-destructive testing (NDT) method used to assess the integrity and the quality of piles. This test involves sending seismic waves through a pile to determine its characteristics, such as length, material uniformity, and presence of defects.
5. Pile Cross-Hole Sonic Logging Test
Pile Cross-Hole Sonic Logging (CHSL) is a non-destructive testing technique used to assess the integrity of concrete piles, often to detect defects like voids, cracks, or variations in the pile's quality. This method involves measuring the time it takes for an acoustic signal (typically sound waves or ultrasonic pulses) to travel between two
or more access tubes installed within the pile. By analyzing the signal's travel time and characteristics, engineers can determine the quality and consistency of the pile's concrete.
6. Monitoring Pile Test
A monitoring pile test typically refers to a type of test used in geotechnical engineering to assess the behavior of piles in the ground under various loads. Piles are long, slender columns (made of concrete, steel, or wood) used to transfer loads from structures to deeper, more stable soil or rock layers when the surface soil cannot bear the weight of the structure. The purpose of the monitoring pile test is to understand the performance of the pile during load application, ensuring its stability and safety.
