E-78-S Series instruments are designed using new generation micro-controllers. It can be used with NPN or PNP sensors. The instrument counts impulses from counter input. The counted value is multiplied by the PSCL1 parameter specified by the user and displayed on the upper screen by dividing by PSCL2 parameter. The value transferred to the display also checks the relays and the numeric output by comparing it with the values set by the user, Set1 and Set2. Using the RS-485 communication port and the Modbus protocol, the instrument’s configuration parameters and results can be transmitted to other devices. It is also used as a timer with the TIMER function on the instrument.
